Torrentfreak, a site which some of you may be familiar with, have just published a list of the most pirated games of the year. The list isn’t just for PC titles either, so let’s have a look at the systems and titles that have been played and enjoyed for free this year.
Topping the list is the PC version of Crysis 2, with an estimated 3,920,000. That’s staggering. Almost 4 million, and that’s just torrents; filehosting services bring the number close to 5 million no doubt.
For the Wii, it’s the 2010 title Super Mario Galaxy 2 with 1,280,000 showing the demand for the game a year after release. For the 360, the Gears Of War 3 is the topper with 890,000.
No doubt within a few months Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim will be topping the lists, but for the year so far, that’s what you have.
