Up until now, Apple has quite enjoyed being at the top of the heap when it comes to tablet computing. However with mounting pressures from Android and Windows own expanding ecosystem, things are sure to start getting tough for the Cupertino kids. On the MS side of the debate, tablets will be using what is known as Windows 8 RT, and while this build may have it's own unique share of limitations, QJ would like to show you how to beat one of them quite easily!

Much like iOS, Windows 8 RT is in a lot of senses a very slim and trim operating system. Obviously a lot of the key Windows elements are going to be there like your desktop and access to the new Windows Store, but it will come at the cost of having to loose a full-fledged Flash browsing experience. As it stands right now, Flash is only enabled to work on "approved Microsoft sites" which really puts a damper on any use of the plugin at all. With this quick guide however, we can show you how to get flash anywhere.
- First head on into desktop IE10 and go to Tools/Compatibility View Settings
- Deselect the “Download updated compatibility list from Microsoft” box
- Now, do a Windows Explorer or hard drive search for "%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IECompatData\"
- Open that document with Wordpad or Notepad and scroll down till you start seeing <flash> meta tags.
- From there you'll see that each one of these is tagged with a URL. Just use some fancy copy paste work to create a string that is formatted similarly to the others, but this time just paste your favorite site link into where the URL goes.
- After that simply save the document, clear your IE10 history, and you should be able to load flash on the site of your choice
