Diablo III Producer Leaves Blizzard

Diablo III is upon us, and I’m looking forward to giving the game a good ol’ point and click. And during crucial moments of tightening up the game and polishing everything, the Senior Producer (a bit better than a producer) Steve Parker announces he has now left Blizzard.

The reasons are unknown, but he does assure there are no bad tastes. He writes on his Twitter that he’s ‘had a great 5 years’ at Blizzard, and that the guys currently working on Diablo ‘are going to do a great job’.

Where is he going next? How does this affect the game? Who knows. Blizzard has already put up job listings, or rather, A job listing, for Senior Producer.

The release date of the game is still sketchy, but don’t be too sure it’s coming that soon, as Game Director Jay Wilson says that fans should not be impatient, as the game isn't ready for fans. It’s good, but their job isn’t to put out a good game, but to put out the ‘next Diablo game’.

Big words indeed, let’s hope it can live up to the hype.
