Wolfire Games is in it's third year of running The Humble Indie Bundle, an awesome and amazing charitable cause for PC Gamer's around the world. The games in the current bundle pack include the intoxicatingly fun puzzle Cogs, VVVVV, And Yet It Moves, Hammerlight and Crayon Physics.
But that's not all, he said in his annoying announcer voice. Notch, the famous Minecraft inventor, has thrown his oversized and profitable hat into the ring by giving anyone who purchases the bundle, a copy of Minecraft, as well as the game company Kot in Action are giving away the captivating Steel Storm.
The games are a hell of a lot of fun, available on all platforms and can be downloaded direct download, via Steam or even by BitTorrent. Not one to shamelessly advertise a game (or the use of 'peer-to-peer' software), the games money does go to the Electronic Freedom Fund and Child's Play, two incredibly noble and helpful causes in the gaming and medical world.

Having made almost a million dollars this year and over a million last year, this gives into the great question of how much gamers are willing to pay for games in this day and age. Whilst the price does fluctuate on the site for obvious reasons, the average purchase being just over $4 and because I'm a sucker for statistics, Linux is becoming a second favourite to the all engrossing Windows.
The Celebrity Impersonation heavy advertisement with a sly reference to The Social Network won me over via launch and then the games did the job of finishing me off and had me donating some money (Remember: Humble) to get these incredible games.
With 8 days left and people still to help, visit the site and get your humble on.
