Unless you're a PC gamer that's been sleeping under a rock lately then you probably already know that Steam has been running its major holiday sale from December 20th to January 5th. In general, like all good sales, the time-frame for these titles go fast, but some of the savings are up around the fifty percent off range. I know, it's crazy right? There are a whole mess of titles available for you to purchase today, but among those, the Sims 3 and The Walking Dead tend to stand out the most of all.

First, I'll talk about the game most of your probably already know. The Sims is and always has been the absolute number one virtual doll house game for PC. As you have done in the past, it will be your job to control your group of inhabitants known as Sims and work as hard as you possibly can to fill their every need and desire. For some this may mean falling in love, while others might just need to find a place to empty their bladder. Either way, it's that sense of control and sticking to the usual formula that makes the Sims 3 such an amazing game. With it's new expansive worlds, it's hard not to get lost in all of the fun. If you hurry The Sims 3 will only set you back $10.19. 

Next up is our game of the year contender The Walking Dead. In case you haven't heard, it is the episodic point and click adventure that is taking the world by storm. In this game you'll be in the midst of a zombie apocalypse with your hopes riding on making the right decisions at the right time. Unlike most other games, this could be a great break from the many other titles that simply rely on fast reflexes. Plus who doesn't love zombies?  Am I right? Today it's only $12.49!
