Just in time to get into the spooky spirit we have plenty of small news stories to report from the Borderlands 2 front. With soaring sales and high profits Take-Two and Gearbox seem to be in the giving mood today thanks to some new specialized scary character skins that are exclusive to their Twitter page. As is with any holiday deal though, these goodies are only going to be offered for a limited time, so you  better act now if you want a treat instead of bring tricked.

First off, I think it pays to talk about some of the recent quarterly numbers that have surfaced over at Take-Two thanks in large part to their work behind the zany shooter known as Borderlands 2. With revenues of $273.1 million dollars, that accounts for a 155% increase over their previous quarter two numbers. However unlike some other development teams, we are sad to report that there is still indeed a net loss of $107 million, but the fact is it costs a lot of money to create the games we love. If you have purchased Borderlands 2, I'm sure at the very least T2 owes a large part of that revenue increase to you.

That being said, with all of that money flowing into the company, the folks over at Gearbox wanted to do something special to spice up your Halloween. Thanks to the release of some SHIFT codes on their Facebook and Twitter pages, this bright outfit for Maya among others could be yours. The giveaway begins at 11AM ET (8AM PT, 3PM British.) Each code will be active till 11:55PM CT on November 4th, so you're going to have to redeem these quickly if you want them.
