The wait is nearly over, Cliffski's brand new tower defence title in the Gratuitous series is almost here...

The brand new title is about an alternative version of World War 1 where the strategy has changed for the war and now there are mechs, tanks and the world is going to hell, but not without your help. The game is a PC strategy title with the best bits of TD, RTS and the classic war sim games of the 90's. The game has been in development for over a year and a sequel to Gratuitous Space Battles, another TD title. The game's beta trailer (above) covers almost everything you need to know about the game but I have to say that the game's dark sense of humour and pretty stunning visuals are enough for me to grab it.
