Planet 3DS has gotten their hands on Rayman 3D and recorded a four minute long gameplay video of the game in action.

The video shows off some classic Rayman platforming in familiar vistas. Rayman 3D is an "enhanced port" of the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Naturally, the game will be playable in full stereoscopic 3D, which cannot be seen unless viewed on a Nintendo 3DS system itself.

Rayman 3D's visual quality looks strikingly similar to that of the Dreamcast version -- which isn't necessarily a bad thing -- but the 3DS can do so much more than what the Dreamcast was capable of.

As the only platformer available at the 3DS launch, Rayman 3D is a solid launch day buy for early adopters of the 3DS who haven't played the original title.
