The Incredibles is Not So Incredible |
Ó
It's one of those bad movie tie-ins. The main characters in the game are Mr. Incredible and Frozone, and their default powers are the same as the ones they have in The Incredibles movie. The powers are easy to use, but you can only use one attack power at a time - this is because you can only use one superhero at a time. When you're using Mr. Incredible and need to use the freezing power of Frozone, you have to tap the DS screen to change characters. It gets annoying when you have to change characters often, especially when you're fighting against endless amounts of Underminer's (the enemy in the game) robots. This is another reason as to why gamers don't like the game so much. In almost all the levels, you'll have to battle against faceless robots of varying sizes. It gets tiring after the 10000th time.Since its release last March 20, the Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer has even been said to have pseudo-3D graphics. Also, using the stylus to direct Frozone or Mr. Incredible oftentimes result to the characters acting slower than intended, making you lose a life. You'd rather use the D-pad to control the characters.
The game has also been described by gamers as bland and too easy. A multiplayer game is also possible but with the kind of flawed levels that the game has, not all gamers are bound to enjoy this movie tie-in game.
