Papa Smurf in da' house breaking it down to you straight: The DS Lite is making crazy-good sales in America! It is even boosting the sales of several DS games. Don't believe me? Check the facts!

1. Since Sunday, over 136,500 DS Lite units have been sold.
2. The DS Lite's initial sales have beaten out Nintendo's older portable redesign, the GameBoy Advance SP.
3. The release of the Lite straight-up spiked the sales of New Super Mario Bros. and Brain Age. Mario's sales doubled and Brain Age's tripled!

Man, those are some whack figures. If you're anything like Papa, you're saving your hard-earned cash for a black DS Lite.
