It's been over five years since we have last heard about Square Enix's "The World Ends With You" originally released for the Nintendo DS. However, a new domain registered by the developer does give us some hope that new news will be on the way regarding the future of the franchise.  So what exactly do we know about this action-role playing titled designed by the same team that brought you Kingdom Hearts?

By heading on over to this discovered site you will see the content that we have under deep analysis. Here we witness a countdown to a date that is set to August 26th counting the seconds minutes and hours related to something that is supposedly "coming soon" as the website header denotes. With some jazzy background music to boot, at the very least we can tell that there is something related to the game that we should be getting amped up about.

After all, the music is somewhat reminiscent of the games, style as is the font of the page itself, so there is very little question that this series is indeed what we are talking about. While not much more is known other than that, we can assure you that QJ will pick up the story on the infamous day. With the composition of that story, hopefully all details will be revealed. Until then, we can wait and enjoy the music.
