Yet another countdown site has blossomed on the internet, this time from Marvelous Interactive.This time it appears to be Dr Andonuts from Mother 2 (EarthBound.) Tomato at the starmen.net forums say that Itoi will be: “
I'm going to be holing myself up in Kichijoji to get tons done on "it".
"It" is progressing in secret.
I'm keeping silent, that's just how it is.
Everyone who's working on "it", let's make an announcement in the near future, ok?”
If this is indeed a Nintendo DS version of Mother, then let fans everywhere rejoice, and more will be known in approximately five days.

IGN just reported that the game is called "Contact" and is being developed by Grasshopper Manufacture.
