Lumines-562 Meteos-2152

Early next year both games will be reunited on a single system. In fact, they'll be coming together on a gaming platform that you probably already own, whether you like to think of it that way or not. Gameloft has just signed an agreement with Q Entertainment to publish both Lumines and Meteos on, get this, mobile phones. How well the experiences will translate to the smallest of small screens remains to be seen, but if all goes well we'll be finding out in the first quarter of 2006.

This site is so dead (comment wise) compared to pspupdates.com, but I'm going to post the comment i made over there.

Meteos is going to be horrible w/ out the ability to use the stylus. The game's entire style is based on using the stylus. And as for Lumines, what makes it such a hit on the PSP is the combination of wide screen, the variety of backgrounds, and the overall crystal clear, sharp screen which nearly all cellphones lack. It would just seem like a pretty fun puzzle game on a cellphone, but without the quality music and the varied visuals. It is definitely going to be crap.

All I know is that if it only took them 3 days to get a working version of Meteos on to the DS during their development, the 2 ports to the cellphones will be so quick and easy for them. It's just another way for them to spread their influence (an easy way to advertise themselves, put their games on the cellphone market).

u know why this site is so dead?
lack of homebrew apps & software for
DS or tutorials "how-to".
i think u need a Passme or Wifime to get it run on DS, 'not sure tho'
