Japan - DS Lite Back In Black

Noble Pink isn't the only new Lite flavor Japanese people will be enjoying! A recent picture surfaced on the Nintendo of Japan website revealing the release date and price of the swanky black DS. The color will be reaching Japan on September 2nd for 16,800 yen, around $147 USD.

Well, this is definitely a punch in the face for American consumers. Europe has had the black DS Lite for 18 days and now Japan is getting it! We poor Americans are forced to import for $50 dollars more plus shipping and handling or mooch off of their Japanese aunt who's credit card maxed out when she was purchasing the system for her favorite nephew and was forced to return the item.

It seems about time for the USA to get the black Lite!
