DS Lite To Drop Down Under On June 1

Australia seems to be making a comeback. In spite of their usually late release dates, the DS Lite is arriving a whole ten days earlier in Australia than in the United States. The product will launch on June 1st.

There is a downside to the news: Aussies will have to pay $199.95 AUD, about $152 USD. That's $20 more than US citizens will pay! Is getting your DS Lite a few days before the Yanks do worth that price?

Like in its Japanese and soon-to-come US debuts, the Lite will only be available in white at the outset.

This is the normal DS price here, so yeah i guess it's worth it. Ordering from the sates with UPS would work out at about the same cost to buy it new here. But i've allready got mine so what do i care :P
