Something like this, from Resident Evil.
Here, you basically wake up upon hearing strange noises. Of course, you get up to see what's going. And then you wish you hadn't, because things just keep getting stranger by the minute. As this is a point and click game, you'll have to go through scenarios clicking on items to check them out, pick them up, or lead you to another room. There aren't that many furnitures around the house, though, but that's mostly because of "sheer laziness".
So said PacoChan:
"The game is only in Spanish for now, but it has multi-language support. It would be nice if someone could do an English translation. You can obtain more information (in Spanish) here (at his official website). The game has not been tested in real hardware, only in DeSmuMe and no$gba emulators. If you detect any bug, contact me."
