Dead or Alive: Dimensions release date revealed

Dead-or-Alive-Dimensions

Prior to the official announcement of the Nintendo 3DS launch titiles, it was rumored that Team Ninja's Dead or Alive: Dimensions would make the cut. After a few months of not knowing when the title will release, we finally have a release date for the game.

Siliconera is reporting that Dead or Alive: Dimensions will release in North America in May, 2011. This puts the game pretty far away from Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, which is a launch title in all regions.

A May release also goes with what Nintendo has said about spacing out high-profile games, so that gamers don't get too many good games at once and have long periods of no games because of it. Summer 2011 is looking great so far for the 3DS, with Ocarina of Time 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and StarFox 64 3D all releasing in that time period.

The Nintendo 3DS releases in North America on March 27, 2011, and in Europe on March 25, 2011.
