Nintendo should look at this and try to make it. I'd buy a DS if it looked like that instead of a kids toy.

The speakers are too close to each other. Nintendo marketed the DS as having surround sound so that wouldnt work right.

They should leave the design alone and just update the built in software

it doesn't fix the fact that it sticks into your palms and hurts a lot after a 2 hour session of mariokart

why not make the hard buttons and the D-PAD a seperate accessory thats the form of a card that can attach to the GBA slot. That way, we can have a slim and small DS. Drool....

for those who have the hand hurting problem in kart, try getting the pelican slim mag/slide grip bundle. It's only like $10 at GameStop and really helps.

I'm sorry but unlike most of you, I think it just looks like crap. Also because the buttons flap down, when you play and apply just a bit of pressure they would just flap down on you all the time. I don't see anything wrong with the current DS design anyways, except that your thumbs hurt after a while but fixing it would require making the DS bigger.

The screens should be RIGHT next to each other.

Holy hell! Nintendo needs to get that design now ASAP! I mean, it has an analog stick and D-pad, it has bigger buttons from what I can see, and when playing games like wario ware where you only need the 2 screens, fold the buttons in, and it looks like it would go into the pocket much better than the regular DS does. Hell, I love that design. Why can't Nintendo think of something like that?

anon 7:52, nintendo (if they DID take the design), could easily implement spring loaded stabilizers that would inhibit that swing of the "arms", and therefore allow the application of pressure

Nintendo should hire whoever came out with this design in the 1st place and i think NDS will sell much better. hahaha nice work!!!
