New Pokemon Game Is A Collaboration Crossover

Nintendo are teaming up with Tecmo Koei for a new Pokémon game, and it’s not what you’d expect.

Titled ‘Pokémon Plus Nobunaga’s Ambition’, Famitsu reports that it’s a ‘historical simulator’, and a part of Koei’s ‘Nobunaga’s Ambition’ role-playing simulation series.

Set in the Sengoku feudal period, set for a Spring release (Japan), and set on the DS, this will be interesting to say the least. Koei aren’t new to collaborations, having worked with other developers to produce Gundam Musou and One Piece Kaizoku Musou.

Will Pokémon fans pick this up, or will it be a spinoff that will be widely ignored?
