After much teasing, Sega's finally decided to come out with a new trailer for Sonic Generation 20th Anniversary.
Not much have been heard about this game, well, except for the numerous explanations as to why it's not coming out on the Wii. That would certainly be most odd, considering that Nintendo's is the closest and most familiar console for one would think of when thinking of the blue hedgehog.
Nonetheless, they've got a lot more time to continue justifying its absence on the Wii, including how the console does not have enough hardware power, before the game comes out for the 3DS, PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year. The publisher also compared how Sonic used to be the Call of Duty of its time. The company has also admitted to making bad Sonic games in the past, but here's hoping their 20th Anniversary special won't be one of those.

At least Sega has the BALLS to keep trying Sonic even tho some games werent that great. (But doesnt i didnt enjoy them anyless)
Capcom has become this huge pussy thats too scared to try anything new. This to all megaman legends fan out there, Capcom eat a dick!

also, you mentioned capcom is getting repetitive, well the same can be said for sega, except capcom makes better games on average
both are good companies with their ups and downs, so stop being a little bitch

Putting them back to back like that shows that sonic only really changed once with the change over from 2D side scroller with the only advancement after that being what? Better graphics and move moves?
Don't get me wrong, sonic kicks butt. But it's a very good indication of people simply being Nintendo haters for no damn good reason.
They did a collection for the PC once. Hopefully they do something like it again. 3DS would be cool too.
