The 3DS Is Ready To Give You More Headaches |

Beyond black, silver and white, there are very few colours that can continuously whisper ‘style’ into your ear when looking at people’s mobile devices. One of those colours has always been, and always will be, purple. Over the years, the P may have stood for ‘pimp’, ‘pristine’, ‘perfect’ and now it can mean ‘player’. Not ‘playa’, mind you, but ‘player’, as it’s the colour that Nintendo will be sticking onto the 3DS soon.
They haven’t announced it themselves, which means no release date or official price, but a retailer listing has listed the ‘Midnight Purple’ 3DS as on the way.
There was a purple 3DS on display back before its release at E3 2010, so the picture above may give some indication as to what to expect when it hits.
It’s not enough to make me pick a 3DS, but I do know what colour I’m going for should I decide to hop on the 3D wagon.
