Speed Gamers Are Playing Mario For Charity |
Listed in: Games, News Tags: charity, mario marathon, speed gamers
While there has already been plenty of press coverage on this event by other news outlets, QJ is here to remind you that the Speed Gamers Mario Marathon will be hitting the interwebs soon. From December 14th to the 17th the popular charity gaming group will be playing any and all of the Mario games they can get their hands on in the name of the Make a Wish Foundation. With plenty of opportunities to lend a hand, this is a perfect way for you to spread some cheer to those in need during the holidays.

In the past, our community has sometimes been wrongfully assumed to be a bunch of fat dudes who never leave the house, so whenever awesome groups like the Speed Gamers do charity events, they should be paid attention to. If you happen to be around on the internet during this three day span of time, the entire marathon will be streamed live right from their own official website. While there, you can watch the friends complete their mission to play as much Mario possible with little to no breaks in between.
Oh and did I mention there will be prizes too? If you feel like you're in a real giving mood, you can donate in an attempt to win a bunch of amazing stuff including hand-made wooden question blocks and even a Wii U Deluxe system bundle. There is also a charity Christmas tree that you can donate to help decorate as well. Around the holidays, it's always best to consider those that are less fortunate than ourselves. If you want to help by watching some great gaming fun, than this marathon should be on your list.
