Many times I find myself wanting to have certain abilities or items from videogames; usually from the realm of blowing shizzle up with my mind or turning people into ice with my mind (and a dramatic hand gesture), but how about something a little more practical? And achievable?
From MIT comes a student who, instead of counting cards like all the other students, decided to stand out from the crowd and build a fully operational and awesome looking Mario Kart…kart.
Charles Guan put the vehicle above together in about three weeks, putting just over a grand into the project. He says that without free access to some of the hard to obtain parts, the project probably would have been closer to two thousand dollars.

The thing is surprisingly fast, small and reminds me a lot of The Shining.
