Arriving on the 3DS eShop on November 8th, this application will allow users to view a whopping 649 different Pokémon, paying great homage to many of those original monsters that captured many of our hearts during childhood.  In fact, my source over on IGN says that this is the very first time that we will be able to see some of those older modeled Pokemon creatures in full 3D.  There’s nothing much more exciting than that.  

On top of being able to view various stats on the Pokémon and place them in various locales, a series of new quizzes are also available so that true Pokémon masters will be able to test the range of their Poké-knowledge.  Having included a much wider range of characters than the original Pokédex 3D, I can imagine the questions themselves will also offer a much wider range of areas to match.  If you’re still a true Pokémon junkie, this is an app that should not be missed.  If you haven’t picked up the first version as well, make sure you do so before it is removed from the eShop on the first of October.
