The hotly anticipated glasses-free 3D-centric handheld has become the fastest selling Nintendo handheld device over a launch weekend.

Nintendo has announced that its new handheld, the 3DS, has enjoyed the firm’s biggest ever Euro launch, selling 303,000 units across the region in the first two days. In the UK, the device moved 113,000 units sold in its first weekend on shelves, establishing a new record for the fastest-selling Nintendo console of all time in the UK, beating the numbers achieved by Wii, which sold 106,000 units during its first two days and the Nintendo DSi, with 90,000 units, though the figures fall short of Nintendo’s expected 200,000 sales.
Last week, Nintendo UK marketing manager James Honeywell said the 3DS had become the most pre-ordered handheld in the firm’s history, with a whopping 140,000 pre-orders ahead of the console's launch.
“We’ve had record pre-orders,” he said, “which suggests it’s going to be our biggest-ever launch by some distance. I guess we’re looking at a total of comfortably over 150,000, if not 200,000.”
The 3DS launched in Europe last Friday.

I got to say that this is a big disappointment and the 3D is not good at all and not worth no 266$ and 42$ for games WTF?
Unless you are a hardcore nintendo fan and must have every system I would say stay away from the 3DS
