Available now for download in the Nintendo eShop, the video service will showcases exclusive 3D animation and clips from the worlds of entertainment without the need for special glasses.

"Nintendo 3DS is a unique platform for creativity," said Tony Elison, Nintendo of America's senior director and general manager of Network Business. "OK Go and all our partners are helping us make Nintendo Video a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience."

Next week, the band OK Go will launch a new music video and will debut the 3D version exclusively on the Nintendo Video Service. In the succeeding week's, 3DS owners will have an opportunity to download some exclusive 3D clips from Jason DeRulo, Foster the People, CollegeHumor and the world-renowned Blue Man Group, plus "extreme sports and action videos, animation from various independent studios and 3D trailers for upcoming Hollywood movies." Earlier this month, Nintendo also released a free Netflix streaming app for the 3DS that allows all Netflix members to instantly watch TV episodes and movies streaming from Netflix library.

It's pretty cool, once you download the new channel and YOU ACCEPT (read as YOU WANT) auto downloads and turn on StreetPass for the channel then from time to time you pick your 3DS and you have new videos to watch.

For those that will whine and cry about the auto part you have to perform TWO ACTIONS before it will auto download content.

1. You have download the channel.
2. You have to turn ON (off by default) StreetPass for that channel.

That way if you want the channel but don't want the auto downloads you can still use it.
