Nintendo and Best Buy team up

Nintendo today announced a collaboration with Best Buy, a deal that will give special content to the Nintendo 3DS.

Starting on June 7, 2011, around 1,000 Best Buy stores will support automatic Wi-fi connection for any Nintendo 3DS that enters the area. This will allow for the spreading of exclusive content via SpotPass, including 3D movie trailers and other gaming extras.

"Nintendo 3DS turns the page in portable gaming not just because of the stunning, glasses-free 3D visuals, but also in the way it keeps people connected to their friends, their games and their world," said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. "Best Buy provides a firsthand look at the platform with experts to help people understand everything it offers."

"We want our customers to fully tap into the potential of their Nintendo 3DS device, so we're pleased to offer free access to special Wi-Fi and SpotPass content in-store," said Chris Homeister, senior vice president of entertainment for Best Buy. "As a retail partner for SpotPass, this is another way that we're delivering best-in-class gaming experiences at our stores across the country."

Expect more info about this collaboration at this year's E3 Expo.

Ugh! I dont support Best Buy.. They are disgusting.. They forced me to buy other equipment for computer as a protection such as surge protector or other things. I said no thanks and they said okay but your new computer will have virus or damaged. They think that I am inexperience on computer. I told them thanks but no thanks and I decided not to buy their computer. I bought a custom computer from ibuypower site and loved it. It never let me down and I added best popular free antivirus program as well as ad-aware. I am good to go and priceless. :) I never buy anything from BEST BUY. Beware!

How so? Wall mart lets you return items within 90 days no hassle. You can even return some items without receipt (last time I checked.)

Best buy has a decorative customer service counter that tells people to buy a new one.
