Masuda: No pressure from social/mobile games |

In an interview with MVCUK, GameFreak director Junichi Masuda commented on the pressure he feels from the social and mobile game networks.
"I don't feel pressured (by social or mobile networks). What I consider to be most important when releasing a video game is to ensure it reaches everybody and to make sure it can be enjoyed by players safely and securely," Masuda said.
"For example, Facebook and MSN are mainly for adults, but what's very important is that everyone can enjoy a Pokémon game without feeling any fear. So that's what I think about whenever I produce a new video game," he concluded.
Nintendo has been talking about social and mobile games a lot lately. I'm in the belief that the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will never replace dedicated gaming devices. Every Pokemon game in the main series is a far deeper experience than any game available on the App Store.
