One of the reasons I always wanted a Gamecube was for Luigi’s mansion; the visual flair and style was unique and smooth, and now it’s back in 3D.
It’s good to see the game return, as I see it as something of a lost gem, even if it is only on the 3DS.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon doesn’t have a Wii U counterpart or release announced yet, but it definitely would look great on the big(ger) screen in HD in all its colourful glory. What the game does how, however is a trailer which you can watch below.
Nintendo’s E3 presence this year was met with mixed reactions, but I can’t see anyone being upset with this little announcement. Now to await the inevitable Super Smash Bros. news, Resident Evil and Pikmin reboots, and hopefully a Twin Snakes remaster. Perhaps that last one is just wishful thinking on my part.
No release date on Luigi’s comeback yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
