This should come in handy for all those having trouble enjoying their new 3DS units because of eyestrain. Accessories company Newbie Gaming is coming out with a set of eyeglasses that promises to lessen exactly that.


The ClearOptix Gaming Glasses also promises to improve your accuracy as well as the graphical performance of the 3D handheld.

I couldn't agree more.

I've not heard any cases of eye-strain or headaches from all the people I know that own a 3DS, but then again most of the kids of today don't know when to stop playing games. Excessive amounts of gaming no matter what form 3D or not will cause strain and headaches. :zzz

3D without glasses but you need glasses?

Whats the point of longer gaming sessions when the battery wont last longer anyway?
So its portable but you need to keep it plugged in?

So many reasons that says this is a stupid handheld console

I get less headaches if I take my glasses off, oddly enough. It isn't that way with other handheld screens though.

I have the 3D at minimum setting and I can play 3-4 hours without eye strains :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have been using the 3D mode to the
MAX and I don't get any negative effects
from it.I did have them the first time I
saw the 3D mode but I got used to it
so it doesn't bother me.I just put it
into my brain "I can do this","I will be
okay and it will eventually wear out" and
it did wear off so it must be a reaction from
the brain that is causing the negative effects.
