eShop 3DS firmware delayed |

Originally, it was slated for a release in "late May", but now Nintendo Japan's website announced that it's been moved back to June. The new date for you to mark on your calendar for this firmware update is now June 7th, in Japan. As for the North American release, it's going to be on "the evening of June 6 Pacific Time".
What else is happening on that day? Apparently, it's also going to be Nintendo's E3 presentation in Los Angeles, so definitely, there's going to be much more activity then than meets the eye. It's not too long a delay, anyway, and it would probably make much more sense for Nintendo to release it then, if only to ensure maximum exposure.
As for the other news that will be coming out from their E3 presentation, we'll be sure to keep you up to speed on that.
