Dragon Quest VII Remake On the Way |

Dragon Quest is pretty rad. Which makes it mostly good news that Dragon Quest VII is getting a Nintendo 3DS remake, due for launch sometime…..whenever. Probably 2013, right? The game was originally released in 2000 and actually never hit shelves in Europe, but signs are pointing toward the remake seeing a global launch.
Here’s the basic gist: The 3DS version is a 3D remake of the same game released on the PlayStation that includes special Nintendo functionality. For instance, the ability to share lithographs with other players via StreetPass. That’s pretty much all we know for now—we only have the above Japanese magazine scan to go on. We're at least hoping the launch is more broad this time!
