In addition to New Super Mario Bros. 2’s solid month, Nintendo got a boost from some of its other products as well. Nintendo 3DS software sales improved 89 percent over September of last year, and Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus: Uprising, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and Star Fox 64 3D all saw their numbers jump compared to September 2011 as well. To top it all off, Nintendo confirmed that Super Mario 64 DS finally surpassed five million units sold.
