Some New Ace Attorney Film Screens

The Ace Attorney movie is well under way, and those who are waiting for another trailer will have to wait a little longer, but courtesy of Eiga.com, we do have some nice new screens, featuring Phoenix himself, along with Manfred von Karma and the Fey sisters.

Directed by none other than Takashi Miike, I’m very intrigued as to how this will turn out. I’ve gathered a small collection of his work over the years and seeing Ace Attorney in his hands will be more than interesting to see. He’s quite a prolific filmmaker and his most notable films to date include Audition and Ichi The Killer, both featuring intense gore, torture and extended close ups of gory torture.

Ace Attorney, however, looks more in the realms of The Merchant Of Venice than his usual affairs.

Due for release February 11th in Japan, we can hope to see a localization hit western shores by Autumn.
