Rumor: Street Fighter x Tekken for 3DS?

An interview with Yoshinori Ono, the creator of the Street Fighter IV 3DS port, has weighed in on the possible creation of a 3DS port of the upcoming fighter mash up in Siliconera.

When questioned about the port, Ono replied, "It’s possible. For the 3DS, I wanted to do an [Super Street Fighter IV:] Arcade Edition version, but I haven’t had a chance to do that because of all the other things I’m up to."

A possible arcade edition on the 3DS would be an exciting prospect and but Ono isn't too sure as the higher ups are questioning about what would be more profitable or interesting based on the continuity of the game series.

"At the company, we’re debating should we go for an AE port on 3DS? Should we skip that and go straight to Street Fighter x Tekken? There are a lot of things up in the air, so I can’t say for sure what our next 3DS project will be."

Screw arcade edition lets go straight for the stxtekken game and hopefully the tekken x st game too
