Nyko 3DS Charge Base hits retail |

There have been concerns about the battery life of the Nintendo 3DS. Nyko remedied that problem with the Power Pak+, a replacement battery that reportedly lasts twice as long as a regular 3DS battery. Today the company announced that the second part of the solution -- the Charge Base -- is now on retail shelves.
Nyko's Charge Base is a drop-in charging and storage solution for the 3DS handheld. Each Charge Base includes a Power Pak+ rechargeable battery pack and a specialized charging dock designed to store and charge the system and battery together.
The Charge Base features an on/off switch as well as LED indicator lights that let you know when your battery is charging and when it has finished. It uses the standard 3DS AC adapter for recharging.
You can buy the Charge Base and Power Pak+ bundle for US$ 29.99. The Power Pak+ is also being sold separately for US$ 19.99.
