Toshihiro Nagoshi (Sega) He believes the NGP has good balance and delivers a lot the things one would expect from a new gaming system. By building on the handheld's online features and forming a community around it, Nagoshi thinks that the NGP could change the game industry. Work for developers will probably increase, he said, but if it heats up the market, it's work with value.
Yoshifumi Hashimoto (Marvelous Entertainment) Hashimoto, who has worked on Harvest Moon and other Marvelous franchises, wants to make a few sequels but would also like to branch out into completely new games. These range from slow life games all the way to extremely violent titles.

Yousuke Hayashi (Tecmo Koei/Team Ninja) Hayashi expressed interest in the NGP's hardware specs and online features. He noted that they've always developed games under the notion that people differentiate between games they play at home and those that they lay on the go. With the NGP, however, gamers could in the future be able to play one game on the PS3 before taking it out with them on the NGP. On price, Hayashi said that he'd buy it whatever the final price point turns out to be, but as a developer he wants it to be affordable enough so that a lot of gamers can buy it.
Katsuhiro Harada (Namco Bandai) He believes that from now on, HD multiplatform games could include NGP versions. He says he has to respond “fighting game” to the question of what game he wants to make, but noted that he also wants to revamp one of Namco's old arcade games using the NGP's rear track pad. On price, he's hoping for JP¥ 29,800 but expects JP¥ 34,800.
Makoto Yoshizumi (Namco Bandai) Yoshizumi's top three NGP features are wireless, connectivity with PS3, and more robust DLC. These are the features he wants to utilize if he were to make an NGP game. One price, he believes that if Sony somehow launches it at a price below what people are expecting it could cause a “huge movement”.
Hiroshi Maruyama (CyberConnect2) He thinks the NGP's high specs are its most important features. If CyberConnect2 would make an NGP game, they'd want to use the knowledge they gained from working with HD consoles to create a game that would be visually surprising to gamers. On price, he wants JP¥ 29,800 but expects it to reach JP¥ 39,800.
Noritaka Funamizu (Cratfs & Meister) He views the Sony handheld as a game machine first. He believes that the system's OLED screen is extremely beautiful. As for what game he wants to make, he said that he'd like to try developing a game that's different from the Wii title Earth Seeker. One price, he expects Sony to launch the NGP for JP¥ 39,800.
Sony has yet to officially announce a price point for the NGP. The handheld is expected to be released sometime withing the fourth quarter of 2011.
