See firepower-packing dwarves dispose of well-armored orcs twice their size in this gameplay montage video of Electronic Arts' latest MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. These guys may be small, but they're definitely terrible, what with their rifles, hammers and axes built to blast, beat and chop away at stuff like no one's business.

One thing that's quite striking with this video is the impressive attention to detail to the characters' costumes, and the fact that things run smoothly while there's a lot happening on screen. The environments are lush and very convincing, and combat looks absolutely fluid. The explosions are very pretty to look at, too.

If there's anything to say about Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, it's that it pulls off a lot of traditional fantasy elements correctly and very nicely. And even though the General Manager of the game has already admitted that it won't be a World of Warcraft killer, it's definitely close to one.
