LotRO video: how music makes Middle Earth go round

One of the crucial elements many gamers look for in a massive MMORPG is being able to do a lot more than just grinding for hours and fetching quests. Lord of the Rings Online gives players plenty of stuff to do, such as creating music.

In the video below, audio director Geoff Scott walks us through LotRO's unique music system that puts a variety of instruments in the player's hand. Middle Earth is a world filled with wonderful music, and players can help contribute to that using the lute, harp clarinet, horn, flute, frame drum, and other instruments that may be added in the future.
