Hellgate: London Temple Station Tube tour video |
Ó
A little bit of backgrounder about Flagship Studios' rendition of Temple Station: it's one of the few sanctuaries beneath London that doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of the Templar. Instead, it's managed and maintained by Rorke, the leader of a body of soldiers known as the Wetwork Whole.
Temple Station also serves as the hub from where you'll reach Puddle Dock, and where your boss fight with the colossal flying monster the Exospector. It's to note that after defeating this tentacled menace, it becomes a level as well - and after that, you'll be traversing the poisonous alleys of Angel Passage, the snow-covered Barge House, and finally the hallowed halls of Templar Base.
What's definitely interesting with Temple Station, besides the painstaking detail of the architecture and the mood, is the fact that one of the very first bosses you'll be encountering forms part of the game's overall layout. You won't just have to shoot it down from the sky, you'll have to go inside the actual monster itself and battle the demons festering in its innards. Talk about pulling all the stops in creating atmosphere.
Video's below, you know what to do. Enjoy!
