Xfire announces Debate Club, deals with WoW first |
Ó
Xfire Inc. is no stranger to Blizzard Entertainment and its massive game World of Warcraft. Last year, this online-community based company has teamed up with the developer and came up with various events, the most popular of which was the WoW Summer Movie Contest. Now, Xfire announced today its "Xfire Debate Club", a monthly, interactive chat that brings together experts to debate timely and relevant gaming topics that concern its six million strong online community. And for the project's first salvo, the company decided to go with WoW's newly released expansion, The Burning Crusade.
Xfire CEO is more than excited with this.
These experts are leaders in the game industry who bring
hands-on gameplay experience plus extensive knowledge gained from
heading their own game communities. We also anticipate this will be a very entertaining group for the
debate.
Furthermore, the initial hour-long session will be called "The Two-Handed Sword" and will be attended by popular WoW personalities such as Mike Schramm from WowInsider.com, Teza from World of Raids, "Infernal" Bill from TavernCast, Christopher Carter from Curse Gaming, as well as the Xfire community. The moderator will be Gary Whitta from PC Gamer.
Xfire Debate Club: The Two-Handed Sword will be held on January 31 at 7 PM EST/ 4 PM PST. For details on how to attend and become an official member of the debate, click on the Read link below.
