Wrath of the Lich King question: character customization, how will it work? |
Ó
Our trip to the World of Warcraft Forums today made us realize that vanity is by no means confined to real life, it hangs to over to the virtual worlds as well - Azeroth, Outland, and in the future, Northrend too.
The new expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, will be bringing lots of changes and additions to WoW. Things like a new hero class, a new land to explore, new content... and character customization options (among other things). A forum post delves into the upcoming character customization options and asks whether the customization options (new hairstyles, skin colors, and new dances) will come with the expansion at purchase or in game. Relatively new Blizzard poster Bornakk was on hand to answer the query:
The only details that have been finalized at this time is that we will offer new character-customization options with the hairstyles and dances, but not exactly how this will work in the game. More information will be provided when we get closer to the release of the expansion and decisions have been finalized.
Hmm... A few months back, a fellow blogger discussed how it would be nice to have barber shops or tanning salons in the World of Warcraft to maybe get rid of a sickly pallor or an unwieldy growth of facial hair. What do you think? More news when they happen, so stay tuned.
