WoW web tools: The Arena Comparison Tool |
Ó
Andreas "bds" Thorstensson coded what looks to be another great tool for referencing players based on a particular set of parameters. This time, however, it's looking at Arena-based comparison rather than guild checking, so its uses are somewhat more directed towards the PvP end of Blizzard's battling spectrum.
The Arena Comparison Tool lets you see the top rated arena teams and the players for each team, allowing you to sort each through bracket, geographical region, or class. In addition to simply listing the names, the site offers links to the actual armory pages of each of these high-level players, so you can see just how far along they are in comparison to your own character, or, if you're more of the intellectual type, analyze the item loadouts and talent specs the best players have in relation to your own.
For instance, according to this tool, the best PvP hunters seem to be marksmanship-survival specced, with only a handful of points going into survival. As expected, they also have some of the best PvP type gear, so if you want to follow in their footsteps and make a killing of your own in the normal battlegrounds, then you could try copying and adapting their specs and gear to fit your playstyle.
As a compendium of knowledge, we're definitely impressed by all the info available at our fingertips. Chances are, you'll get a kick out of it too. Enjoy!
