WoW: Issues with +6MP5 on chest |
Ó
This topic was brought up even during World of Warcraft patch v2.0.7. Alongside many other issues, the Spellsurge enchant was reported to not show any mana gains in the combat log. Likewise, the Satin Tunic mana bonus was found not stacking to mana enchants. For our WoW newbies, stack refers to a grouped number of the same items that takes up only one equipment slot. Likewise, it also refers to the ability of certain characteristics (ability, buff, debuff, power, spell) to remain active all at the same time.
If items and equipment can work together, that simply means that they can stack. Now, one player over at the game's official community site pointed out that the +6MP5 enchant on chest does not seem to work.
The user added that it doesn't show up on the character's sheet, not to mention that it doesn't affect as well the FuBar regen monitor by the same mana whenever the chest is taken on or off.
Blizzard's Tseric immediately acknowledged the issue and shared some light about the matter. The blue poster explained,
As mentioned in another thread around here, there are several areas where this is occurring and have seen implemented resolutions for various 'mana per 5' bonuses. These changes don't appear to be making it into 2.0.10, but will come in a future patch.
Tseric added that one specific change will included the mana regen effect from "Enchant Chest - Restore Mana Prime." Accordingly, it will not stack with various items that also grant 6 mana per 5. Lastly, a few other bonuses would include not stacking, such as +6/5 secs not stacking with other +6/5 secs.
