The Gnome's discombobulator ray - Image 1As you guys probably remember from a few weeks back, World of Warcraft's engineer's weren't too happy with their new patch notes.

And as we mention that, it's forthcoming that WoW's resident tinkerers will decide to band together to create a discussion page for their aspirations for the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King patch by Blizzard, as what Rikora over at the forums has created. Rikora's thread discussed some interesting ideas, starting with this interesting snippet:

Anything for us in the future? Perhaps something more involved? Perhaps we can make siege weaponry for guilds to use in pvp? That would be so great! Be like how the Dwarves make their steamtanks and use them proudly. 8)

Maybe fix what is broken?

Rikora's mentioning of "siege" placed our attention on the Dwarven Siege Engines - the lumbering tanks the Alliance uses to guard their key cities. Now, wouldn't it be awesome if some future patch could actually allow players to pilot those rigs? More than just some up-sized variety of the Steam Tonk mini-game, imagine these vehicles rampaging across the PvP scene. Unbalanced? Heck yeah, but it's still fun.

Other suggestions included more colored smoke flares, better goggles, and even remote-controlled airplanes in Outlands, complete with dogfights. Guys interested in reading up on the rest of the wacky and not-so-wacky ideas can drop by the original discussion thread, via the source link below.
