WoW Europe forums: Gradient panels creation guide

Example of a gradient panel - Image 1Siana over at World of Warcraft's Europe forums posted an interesting tutorial thread we think the readers might like. Rather than some in-game strategy guide however, it will tackle the topic of creating your very own gradient panels - like that screenshot to your right.

Needless to say that this will require you to do some tinkering with your game's settings, and the use of a couple of WoW AddOns. Here are what you'll need to get started (quoting Siana):
  1. You will need to get a AddOn called eePanels, if you haven't already. Download it from http://www.wowace.com/files. Extract it and place the folder in your WoW Directory/Interface/AddOns.
  2. If you have FuBar, the AddOn should now pop up there. If not, it should be on your minimap. If it isn"t, simply type "/eepanels minimapattach" to put it there. Now right click it.
  3. The first thing you want to do is to activate "Advanced Mode", and de-activate "Lock Panels".
The rest of the gradient panel guide is available in the read link below. Like we said, it's not exactly some boss-killing walkthrough for Blizzard's WoW, but it certainly makes the game interface much easier on the eyes...at least if you get the settings right.
