WoW Armory upgrades with more options |
Ó
We recently reported World of Warcraft's The Armory going down for maintenance. Well now it's back online and the tweaks made are looking great. The newly upgraded Armory offers options for both the casual and competitive players in WoW. The changes they implemented seem to be working fine with no hitches, although there is a bit of slowdown when you're trying to access some of the newer features.
They have added lots of little useful functionalities such as the advanced search option. This option now makes it easier to find specific information to help you in your game. They have also added a pin-a-profile to the accounts which makes it easier to cross-reference other people's pages. I can see this becoming a very helpful tool when you're comparing your character to others of the same level and spec. The guys at Blizzard also decided to add specific locations for all the items, dungeons, bosses, and factions which will be extremely useful in planning out your next raid.
For those who have a compulsive need to upgrade (don't we all?) the new "Find an Upgrade" tool is perfect for you. Just hover your cursor over the item and click on the small arrow that turns into a button icon. This will let you see all the items in that category the system considers to be an upgrade for your existing gear.
Words cannot express how great this tool is! It makes item hunting so much easier. They have also included a filter called "Desired by" which essentially shows you the current trend in the market and what other characters in your class are looking for.
That said, if you play the game, waste no more time and click on our read link to take you to The Armory. Check out the new features they've added and see if the new information you can glean from the site helps out your game. Be sure to keep checking back for more updates on World of Warcraft.
