World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King concept art and screenshots |
Ó
The last time we saw Arthas Menethil, he merged with Ner'zhul to become the Lich King in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Well, you really can't expect him to be in Northrend forever, right? Lich King Arthas is back, and he's off to destroy everyone with his Scourge army in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.
Oh, yes. It's still raining info and goodies from BlizzCon. We've got new screenshots and concept art from the upcoming WoW expansion. Wrath of the Lich King will pretty much feature the bitter tundra of Northrend and you can probably take a hint from the following: Arthas' rune blade Frostmourne, his Icecrown Citadel, and the Frozen Throne.
Anyway, the screenshots and art we have today features the various the locales in Northrend, including the Borean Tundra, Daggercap Bay, Grizzly Hills, Howling Fjord, Nerbian Entrance, New Agamand, Nifflevar, Utgarde Keep, Valgarde, Vengeance Landing, and Westguard Keep. In addition, we also have concept art of the Death Knight, and the Tuskar Chief. Whew.
So, will you follow Arthas' footsteps to evil? Remember: the road to hell is paved with good intentions. We'll see what happens in WoW: Wrath of the Lich King. Stay tuned.
