World of Warcraft TCG: Molten Core ships (FINALLY!) - Image 1Tired of beating Onyxia in the World of Warcraft TCG? Can't wait for the Molten Core Raid deck to be released? Well, it's already been shipped and WoW players should expect to have a blast once they get their hands on this.

So what does this new set have to offer? As most of you are aware by now, the old Onyxia Raid deck had 60 cards in the main, 20 Whelp token cards, three over-sized monster cards, and a treasure pack which had some of the Phatest loot most of the players have every seen. (I got a Bloodfang hood on my first pack crack!) Well this new set comes with a 52-card game deck, a 10 card treasure pack, a Minion deck, Rune cards, 10 over-sized Monster cards, and one rulebook. Oh, did we mention that Fire Lord Ragnaros was going to be your main foe in this one?

For those who play the online game, you guys are getting something from this release as well. The Raid deck will have randomly inserted loot cards. Essentially inputting the codes found on these cards gets you cool items online such as a picnic blanket with umbrella and working hibachi (Rest and Relaxation), a baby gorilla pet (King Mukla), and a fortune-telling imp (Fortune Telling Card). You're not getting this anywhere else, so rare item hunters may be cracking quite a few packs just to get these.

That said, this is one product I can recommend whole-heartedly. Don't take my word for it though, I admit I am a fan of the TCG and just love the concept of Raid decks. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to discuss the loot cards and the deck itself in a more comprehensive manner in a future article. Keep checking back for more WoW news.

treasure cards

Ha ha, I hadn't heard about the new in-game loot cards. Have any more info on them or screenshots? The picnic blanket, umbrella and hibachi grill sound amusing. Some of the treasure cards, like Benediction look very powerful: http://warcraftcardgame.com/2007/06/molten-core-raid-deck.html
