We've been covering plenty of raid issues, raid classes and raid news in our World of Warcraft blog for quite a while, but then you've skipped on a couple since you haven't had the audacity to learn the intricacies of raids. Today, however, you've been envious of all the nice loot that your friends happen to have earned from a "run," and so you're considering giving it a try.
Rather than just daunt you (and douse that passionate fire of yours) with all the complexities of raid tasks and requirements, Wearfannypacks put together a primer on how you can get recruited by the reasonably good Raid guilds out there. Once you're a shoo-in, then you can ask to be spoon-fed by the guild's raid tactics and strategies.
Do you have to join purple-touting avatars on their dash down Karazhan or Gruul's Lair? Not really, but you will have to gather at least some Raid drops, so if you can get your hands on them without shuffling a foot inside Edge Mountains, why not?
